London Town in Bloom - Annual Benefit - April 8

Annual Benefit London Town in Bloom     The fourth annual spring benefit, London Town in Bloom, will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This festive event features a silent auction, great food and drink provided by area caterers, and “swing era” music performed by the Freddie Stevens Trio of Baltimore. The site will be open for self-guided tours of the Historic Area, William Brown House, the gardens, and archaeology lab from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.   Some of the featured silent auction items are a one-week stay at a beach house in Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a hand-crafted marble maze tower made of cherry wood, a Marjory Boyer Crane hand-made quilt, a signed Wayne Bierbaum photograph, Orioles field box seat tickets, antiques, wine, and gift certificates and passes to area restaurants, hotels, spas, salons, theatres, jewelers and businesses.   The benefit will once again showcase the delectable signature dishes of some of the finest caterers in the Chesapeake region, including Adams Ribs, Annapolis Catering, Atlantic Caterers, Catering by the Bay, Expressions Catering, Gourmet by the Bay, Ken’s Creative Kitchen, Killarney House, Main Ingredient, Main Street Catering, Palate Pleasers, Party Girls, Roundz Catering, Saucy Salamander, The Wild Orchid Café, and Whitman’s Catering.   Enjoy this extraordinary opportunity to help Historic London Town and Gardens.
