Education is at the core of what Historic London Town and Gardens does on a daily basis. The Public Programs Department is responsible for the educational events, activities and programs that are hosted at the site.

Interpretive Scope:

There are 3 main areas of interpretation for Historic London Town and Gardens. They are as follows:
History of London Town
This includes Colonial London Town and the Alms House period; this goes until the founding of Historic London Town. This includes living history demonstrations.
Historic London Town & Gardens:
This goes from the founding of Historic London Town until Present Day. This covers why the garden came to be, what it was used for, how the visitor center and museum came to be, etc. This also includes the archaeology that has been done/will be done.
Our Natural World
This is focused on the gardens, plants, animals and science of the natural world that is found at Historic London Town & Gardens.
